World No Tobacco Day 2023 “Smoke-free Sportswear Day” – Announcement of Awards 2023

World No Tobacco Day 2023 “Smoke-free Sportswear Day” was concluded successfully! The “Get Set, Go! Towards our Tobacco-free Future” Publicity Programme received overwhelming support by over 100 companies, government departments, non- government organizations, hospitals, schools and companies. Over 4,000 people joined the “Smoke-free Sportswear Day” on 31 May by wearing sportswear and doing exercise, in order to motivate smokers to quit smoking and create a healthy lifestyle and together build up a Tobacco-free Hong Kong.
During the Campaign, the top five organizations and schools respectively with the highest number of participants to echo the “Smoke-free Sportswear Day” were awarded the “The Most Active Participation Award – Organization” and “The Most Active Participation Award – School”. “The Most Active Energetic Supporting Organization” and “The Most Creative Supporting Organization” were also introduced in recognizing the generous support of energetic and creative supporting organizations/schools in promoting the Programme.
