World No Tobacco Day 2024– Smoke-free Sportswear Day

The World Health Organization (WHO) designates 31st May of each year as the World No Tobacco Day (WNTD). The theme of WNTD 2024 is “Protecting children from tobacco industry interference”, calling for the tobacco industry to stop targeting at youth with tobacco products.
To echo World No Tobacco Day, COSH launches a Smoke-free Publicity Programme with the theme of “Smoke-free Evoke, Wellness Spoke” to encourage the public to support for the Smoke-free Sportswear Day on 31 May by wearing sportswear and keep exercising to motivate smokers to quit smoking in a supportive social environment, leading us to the tobacco-free future and achieve a healthy lifestyle.

People from all walks of life are welcome to support and join COSH in promoting the “Smoke-free Evoke, Wellness Spoke” Publicity Programme from 18 May to 30 June 2024. The top five supporting organizations with the highest number of participants will be awarded the “The Most Active Participation Award”. Organizations with the most energetic and creative promotion will also be awarded “The Most Energetic Supporting Organization” and “The Most Creative Supporting Organization” respectively. Each supporting organization will also receive a digital participation certificate as compliment.
