* At least one of the members of the Smoke-free Buddy Team must be smoker/ current quitter. The Organizer reserves the right to undertake the exhaled carbon monoxide test and/or saliva cotinine test after enrolment. Any person who provides invalid personal data or false details will be disqualified and shall re-submit the registration fee.
^ Smoke-free Family Team must include an adult aged 18 or above and a child aged 4-15.
Remarks:
- The results of Individual and Team categories are calculated separately.
- Each participant can enroll for one team only.
- Members of School Team and Corporate Team must be formed by members from the same school or corporate. Supporting documents shall be presented during collection of race pack.
- Each School Team and Corporate Team is comprised of 4 members. The result will be determined by the total time of all members. If there are identical results, the finishing time of the last member of the teams will be compared.
- Each Smoke-free Buddy Team is comprised of 2 members. The result will be determined by the average time of the 2 members. If there are identical results, the finishing time of the last member of the teams will be compared.
- Smoke-free Family Team Races are non-time trial. On top of completing the designated course distance, team can take additional challenges during the activity.
Extra Challenge
- The first 25 participants who have successfully completed and uploaded a valid activity record (the record must clearly show the activity date, time, elapsed time, route and distance) and photos at starting point and finishing point (the photos must clearly show the participant and its race bib) will get two Water Tour tickets of The “Star” Ferry Company, Limited (total value of around HK$280). (The schedule and arrangement of Water Tour may be subject to change accordingly to pandemic situation, please refer to the website of The “Star” Ferry Company, Limited)
- Check-in with Wike Mike: Participant can complete the activity wearing the “Wise Mike” event T-shirt and upload the photos at starting point and finishing point to the individual account on the event website. The photo shall clearly show the participant wearing event T-shirt and race bib.
- The Best Smoke-free Participation Award: Participants joining the Team Challenge can deliver smoke-free messages to the public, family or friends during the activity, and upload the corresponding photos with description (within 100 words) to their individual account on the event website. Entries will be assessed by the Organizer and the team with the the highest score will be the winner.
- The Best Smoke-free Costume Award: Smoke-free family team can design their own smoke-free costumes for the activity and take photos for record. Photos have to be uploaded to their individual account on the event website for assessment. The Organizer will also upload selected photos to social media platform(s) for public voting. Score will be counted by public votes (50%) and assessment by the Organizer (50%)*. The team with the highest score will be the winner.
- The Best Team Spirit Award: Smoke-free family team can take photo which can show their team-spirit during the activity and upload to their individual account on the event website for assessment. The Organizer will upload selected photos to social media platform(s) for public voting. Score will be counted by public votes (50%) and assessment by the Organizer (50%)*. The team with the highest score will be the winner.
*For The Best Smoke-free Costume Award and The Best Team Spirit Award, submitted entries will be assessed by the Organizer. The top entries will be uploaded to online platform(s) by the Organizer for public voting. The final score of each entry will be counted by public votes (50%) and assessment by the Organizer (50%).
Prize
- All participants completing the activity according to the rules and regulations of the Organizer can download an e-certificate on the event website.
- All participants who complete the “Check-in with Wise Mike” challenge will receive an e-voucher of Juicy Chic Instant Chicken Breast (total value of HK$25).
- The first 50 participants who complete the “Check-in with Wise Mike” challenge will receive a limited Wise Mike 30cm doll. (Click the image to enlarge)
